Abstract
We developed a 60.5 GHz millimeter-wave spread spectrum radar that can measure the distance, the velocity, the angle in the horizontal direction and the intensity of the received signals between multi-vehicles. It is possible to detect the area of over 30 degrees at present. It is estimated that it is necessary for the future application to control multiple beams effectively between the radar and communications. In this paper, it is described about an outline for the structure of the 60.5 GHz millimeter-wave spread spectrum radar and the test data is given for obstacles sensing both in the static and dynamic situations.
