Abstract
This paper discusses a design of a forward broadcast supplemental channel (F-BSCH) in CDMA2000. With minimal changes to the existing CDMA2000 Release 0 system, the proposed F-BSCH can flexibly and efficiently provide a one-way, high-rate communication link to a large number of mobile stations. Link-level and system-level simulations results are presented to evaluate the system´s performance.
