Abstract
We present some interesting research studies conducted over both a Differentiated services (Diffserv) and a Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) experimental testbed Diffserv operation over an MPLS backbone is also investigated The trials have been performed on a network made of Linux routers and the measures have been collected by exploiting state-of-the-art open source software, either available from other researchers or developed at our own university.
