Abstract
This paper is concerned with an automatic pouring system in the casting industry, and gives special consideration to both tracking to a moving mold line and sloshing suppression. The system is constructed with two-degree-of-freedom control, and is designed using a hybrid shape approach. The effectiveness of the proposed system is shown through experiments in liquid container transfer.
