Abstract :
This paper addresses the detrimental effect of volatile phenomena caused by retailer speculative actions in a supply chain system. After attempting to simulate such phenomena with a multi-dimensional Kalman filter, a predictive ordering method to alleviate excessive inventory burden is proposed.
