Abstract :
Discusses a self-tuning controller for systems with varying time delays. The derivation of this controller is based on a discrete-time Smith delay compensator and generalized minimum variance control (GMVC). In addition, a modified reference signal filter is used to improve response delay. It has not only an accommodation of time delay changes but also a load disturbance rejection.
