Abstract
We propose a near-infrared imaging system using a scanning, probe aimed at personal examination of human body. Experiments to detect absorbers in scattering medium have been conducted. By scanning of the probe an the surface, we can obtain an image that suggests existence of absorbers. A scanning probe system using a computer mouse for relative position detection has been demonstrated.
