Abstract :
The problem here is the 3D object recognition by registering a given 3D point data to stored models. In our research, we generate a smooth and continuous surface from the point set to avoid the resolution difference. In this paper, we describe details of the generation of the surface and the ICP (iterative closest point) matching.
