Abstract :
The present report introduce a method originally proposed by Collinds (1961) to analyze the potential field around a biological molecular particle having die non spherical hemisphere cap. The potential equation for the. hemi spherical cap was expressed by Abel type integral equations. The solution was expressed by the series expansion of Legendre polynomials. The expansion coefficient were determined by the continuous condition between the facing two boundaries. The inner and outer potential around the hemispherical cap was strongly influenced by the expansion angle and circumferential angles. The present method when extended will be available for computing the potential field around the transmitter approaching to the cellular receptor.
