Abstract :
This paper proposes a new digital redesign method for a linear state-feedback control system where the discretization of the closed-loop control input signal is carried out based on the principle of equivalent areas. The proposed method is applied to decoupled CCV flight control and simulated to assess its control performance. Simulation results are presented to reveal a potential problem in using this principle as is for digital control.
