Abstract :
A new subspace-updating algorithm using multistage Wiener filter is presented. Its performance and processing time have been compared with several subspace tracking algorithms found in the literature with a large sonar towed array simulation. The new algorithm has advantage to update the estimation of the signal subspace with a block of data and shows a significant reduction in the processing time.
