Abstract :
In this paper, we present a partial DFT-based modified OFDM system that is resistant to channel nulls when both the transmitter and the receiver know the channel state information. We show the relationship between the method and filter bank precoding system as well as linearly precoded OFDM. Two optimal zero-forcing solutions are developed. The solutions inherit the fast implementation of OFDM and the superior performance of linear precoding system.
