Abstract :
We present a novel space-time orthogonal coding scheme with full-rate and full-diversity on a QPSK constellation for communication systems with four transmit antennas. We also study the performance of the newly proposed coding scheme in comparison with that of half rate full diversity orthogonal codes as well as full rate half diversity quasi-orthogonal codes. We demonstrate that the proposed coding scheme not only offers full rate but also outperforms the other two schemes when SNR increases.
