Abstract
It has been recently shown that depressing synapses selectively tune to specific frequencies. In this paper we explore the implications of this phenomenon at the network level. We consider three network configurations: feedforward network, two input neuron, and a recurrent network. We show that the frequency tuning is sharper for the feedforward network. Two input synapses have "excitatory" and "inhibitory" regimes and the recurrent network exhibits coherent firing.
