Abstract :
This paper reports the kit of Micro Mobile Robot for the robotics seminar for youth. The robotic seminar plays an important role for the education of technologies such as robotics against youth. The kit consists of two motors, a body and two tires simply. The transmission system directly transmits the torque from the motor to the wheel without gears, and the shaft of wheels has the clearance against the body to ignore the error of the assembly. The concept of their design is 1) easy to construct it, 2) easy to expand the architecture, and 3) enjoyable of using it. Also, this paper shows the robotic seminars which were held in 2002.
