Abstract
This paper proposes a new scheduling algorithm for Bluetooth scatternet and evaluates its performance. The proposed algorithm takes into account the destination of packets and dwell time of the bridge node as key factors. Performance of the proposed scheduling algorithm is evaluated analytically, using techniques from queuing theory. Numerical results from mathematical analysis show that the proposed scheduling algorithm for Bluetooth scatternet maximizes the network throughput.
