Abstract :
This paper studies fault detection (FD) problems in multirate sampled-data (MSD) systems in the frequency domain. Operators are introduced from the viewpoint of FD to analyze the frequency domain dynamics of residual generator. Based on it, a direct approach is proposed to design the H2-optimal discrete-time FD systems for MSD systems, which takes into account the influence of multirate sampling. Finally, the full decoupling problem is discussed.
