Abstract
Switched systems are a special class of hybrid systems. Different from the existing mathematical models for switched systems, in this paper it is assumed that there are two groups of subsystems and the switching between the two groups is alternate. Based on the new model of switched linear systems under constrained switching, this paper studies the reachability of such systems. A necessary and sufficient geometric criterion for reachability of such systems is established. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the results.
