Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new kind of dynamic output-feedback variable structure controller to stabilize Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy systems that have nonlinear disturbances. Based on the new kind of controller, which consists of a general full structure of weighting-dependent dynamic controller and an additional variable structure control part, this paper directly suggests new global asymptotic stability criteria for the uncertain TS fuzzy systems using Lyapunov stability. Furthermore, this paper presents simple solvable conditions for the criteria in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).
