  • Abstract
    This paper described the algorithmic and software design principles of an object-oriented, Java-based graphical interactive software packages, J-DES, for analysis and synthesis of discrete event systems (DES). The software is also capable of quantitatively evaluating different supervisory controllers in terms of a language measure.
