Abstract :
We report on the observation of spectral replica holes in erbium doped fibers with different co-doping elements. Replica holes in the long wavelength region are enhanced by co-doping with lanthanum. Increasing the erbium concentration tends to wash out replica holes. The width and depth of holes are measured at room (300 K) and low (77 K) temperatures.
