            Abstract : 
We propose and demonstrate the in-service monitor of the dispersion within the entire transmission bandwidth by applying the optical frequency-modulation method at a few WDM channels. This method has potential applications to cost-effective adaptive dispersion compensation in ultra-dense WDM systems.
