Abstract :
A TO-"can"-sized coaxial 10-Gb/s 1.3-μm DFB laser-diode module with 28% mask margin at 85°C was demonstrated. A differential feed provides ease of installation by low return loss (<-7 dB at 10 GHz, lead length 5 mm).
