Abstract :
We demonstrate a novel optical band-pass filter consisting of an arrayed-waveguide grating pair. The filter has a flat passband of 40 GHz, a sharp rolloff and a periodicity of 200 GHz, which makes it useful for WDM single sideband filtering.
