Abstract :
We reduce the considered problem to solving a matrix equation of the second kind for unknown coefficients of a scattered field into a Fourier series. This expansion was obtained by imposing boundary conditions on the scattered field with the subsequent re-expansion of the field function over basis functions in a given interval. The expansion coefficients of the scattered field were determined analytically in the case where the electric diameter of the dielectric-coated axially slotted cylinder is less than unity. Scattered far-field (SFF) of the structure is evaluated asymptotically. Is shown that the shape of scattering-field pattern for that limitation is similar to the cardioid for the case of an E-polarized incident wave.
