Abstract :
The report is devoted to the development quality criterion of radiation in active medium of lasers and laser amplifiers, in which the adaptive optical systems are used to achieve the necessary output beam spatial-power characteristics. The analysis of well-known quality criteria of radiation, active medium and functioning adaptive optical systems shows that the existing criteria do not quite satisfy some tasks of designing laser systems with adaptive optics. On the basis of the analysis of joint functioning laser and adaptive optical systems the substantiation of the use of information quality criterion - the reduced entropy of wavefront distribution angles - is given. The method of definition of the reduced entropy value is offered. Correlation of the given criterion with the efficiency of the laser system functioning is demonstrated by the results of imitation modeling of the laser system supplied by an adaptive optical phase conjugation system with Hartmann wavefront sensor and controlled cavity mirror. The reduced entropy allows to solve the optimization task, both of the laser system on the whole, and of its separate subsystems independent of presence or technical perfection of adaptive optical system.
