Abstract
This paper presents a summary of new results on the demonstration of noise-free gain with use of an MF-based phase-sensitive nondegenerate optical parametric amplifier and on the demonstration of low-jitter 10 GHz-rate pulse generation simultaneously at multiple wavelengths in the L band by exploiting four-wave mixing in high-nonlinearity fibers (HNLF).
