Abstract :
The city traffic information system is usually operated by independent IT company with the trusteeship form. An efficient method of system integration is necessary to support the whole traffic information services, protect the beneficial history data, and achieve the information resources share. With the development of Grid computing technique and the new OGSA. A platform is offered to us to recognize the resources, share resources and provide information services in the Grid environment. We can also use a federation database and mass storage to integrate data resources. We build the metadata module, data management and traffic information directory service to form the distributed information service. We can also process large scale dataset and KDD with high performance computers and provide a knowledgeable traffic information service with the Grid service mechanism.
