Abstract :
A kind of grid arithmetic in detecting moving vehicle based on image sequence is introduced. In this arithmetic the dissimilarity measure is computed to detect whether there is a moving vehicle, so the position of the moving vehicle can be determined in grids by calculating the DSDR (DisSimil Descend Rate), and the model of the vehicle is extracted from the image.
