Abstract :
This paper presents a novel dynamic model of self-sustained oscillation mode controller (SOC) for series-parallel resonant converter with capacitive output filter working under the variable frequency and phase shift modulation control. This technique is used to minimize the range of frequency variation required to achieve zero voltage switching (ZVS), and the size of the power converter components. The sampled data theory is employed to extract reduced fifth-order generalized steady state, large-signal, and small-signal models. Finally, analytical, simulation, and experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the proposed dynamic model.
