Abstract :
The 500 W distributed power system (DPS) is developed for driving PDP (HD50") TV. All of 6 output powers are designed. Each electrode is supplied by these powers. In this system, mainly outputs are Va for address, Vs for sustain. The half bridge ZVZCS converter is used in sustain for reducing the losses. The flyback converter controlled by top switch is used in address. The experimental results including transient response are obtained for these outputs. The measured maximum efficiency through the DPS developed is about 91% when 220 V input and full load. And the efficiency of the sustain voltage (Vs) is up to 95.27%.
