Abstract
We, NTT facilities, have an important role for NTT by monitoring all power systems for telecommunications and maintaining their reliabilities. We monitor the power systems from eleven regional operations centers in the daytime on weekdays and the areas of East Japan and West Japan from two integrated operations centers at night and holidays. The integrated operations centers are in Tokyo and Osaka. To play the role effectively and securely according to this nationwide monitoring system, we upgraded the advanced power plant integrated maintenance control system (ALICE) developed by NTT facilities. ALICE adopted the latest networking technology to realize efficient monitor control and quick troubleshooting. This paper reports advanced functions developed to solve subjects in integrating the monitor control work and their effects.
