Abstract :
In this paper, the multi-agent urban expressway control system based on generalized knowledge-based model is put forward according to the characteristic of urban expressway. It is designed by adopting AI (artificial intelligence) technology, auto-control technology and generalized knowledge-based model, and its structure is analyzed. Its properties include among others self-study, adaptiveness, self-optimize, co-operation etc., which makes it suitable for timely response to incidents, reducing traffic accident, moderating traffic congestion, increasing the capacity of the whole network, enhancing the benefits of vehicle´s operation and realizing the optimization of the whole control system.
