  • Abstract
    A new multiclass support vector machine (SVM) called multistage support vector machine (MSVM), which is used to combine many two-class classifiers into one multiclass classifier, is proposed in this paper. Comparing its performance with the other three existing SVM methods, the proposed MSVM has shown a better generalization capability.
