Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the resource allocation supporting multiservice in WCDMA networks. The goal of this paper is to obtain resource allocation, which maximizes the total system utility within limited capacity. We propose a simple model, which considers best-effort (BE) traffic sharing the network resources with real-time (RT) applications. The proposed model is based on dynamic pricing and modify the ratio of the BE bandwidth to improve the network utility. Our investigations include the utility and optimal pricing function for network; the relationship between normalized bandwidth and the required SIR & transmit rate. We also compare our model with other models based on pricing.
