Abstract :
In the last years, various methods were suggested to apply wavelet-based techniques to electromagnetic field simulation. In most cases, wavelets have succeeded in Improving or accelerating existing methods significantly. In this paper we describe, how a wavelet-based method is used to solve Helmholtz equation semi-analytically, which is then used to simulate properties of various different electromagnetic structures in both 2D and 3D.
