Abstract
To simplify the process of quoting transmission services for potential or authorized users, the Federal Commission of Electricity of Mexico (CFE) prepared a set of matrices containing transmission services costs between regions of the Mexican electrical system, for different magnitudes of the service and for different voltage levels in the supplying and delivering points. Such matrices are available in a public site for the users to have a preliminary estimation of the costs associated to the transmission services they want to set up, speeding up the process of formalizing a contract, which results in considerable savings of time and money for both, the users and CFE. This article presents the analysis and development of an algorithm for the construction of such matrices as well as a brief description of the software developed for such purposes.
