Abstract
The interpolating windowed discrete Fourier transform has been used to eliminate the errors caused by leakage and grid effects of discrete Fourier transform (DFT). The proper selection of window functions is very important. This paper analyzes the leakage effect of windowed DFT, presents a method to obtain optimal cosine window functions, and the corresponding interpolating algorithms. Simulation results show that the algorithms have the character of simple implementation easy analysis and high precision. Therefore, presenting a satisfying tool for precise and practical harmonics analysis in power system.
