Abstract :
In this presentation the implementation of techniques for the adjustment of power system stabilizers at the generating station is considered. The presentation begins with a review of measurement techniques and instrumentation, continues with a discussion of field testing techniques with examples, and concludes with a brief look at the phenomenon of shaft torsional oscillation.
