Abstract :
A computer-based virtual instrument for power quality disturbance source detection is presented in this paper. The instrument provides unique features of automatic detection of power quality disturbance source and separation of harmonic contributions of customer and supply system at the point of common coupling. This paper describes the instrument architecture and features in details. Laboratory and field test results are also provided to demonstrate the performance of the instrument.
