Abstract
This paper deals with the problem of global asymptotic stabilization of nonlinear systems by means of linear, high-gain, dynamic output feedback. The contribution of this paper is to show that linear high-gain control together with high-gain observer is enough to globally stabilize strongly nonlinear systems. The novelty is to introduce a (dynamic high) gain generated by an appropriate nonlinear filter. The key idea behind analysis and controller design is to apply ISS and nonlinear small-gain techniques.
