Abstract
In this paper, it is considered how to design a variable structure output feedback control (VSOFC) under the existence of the output matrix uncertainty. A sliding mode surface is designed by linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, a simple dynamic function applied for estimating the unmeasured state variables is proposed and the corresponding control law is synthesized. Finally, the obtained design method is illustrated by a numerical example.
