Abstract :
Analysis of noise and vibration characteristics of permanent magnet synchronous machine is presented. Some mechanisms of electromagnetic and mechanical interaction resulting in noise and vibration are also studied and considered in a permanent magnet electrical machine design. The test results of noise and vibration of the machine are much less than the prescribed norm on the national standard.
