Abstract :
On the basis of analytical two-dimensional field solution, this paper deals with flux density and force distribution about the linear eddy-current brake system. The analytical model has a different topology: DC excited electromagnet, Halbach magnetized and vertical magnetized permanent magnet. In this paper analytical results considering nonlinear characteristic of iron compare with both those obtained from finite element analysis and experimental data.
