            Abstract :
Based on the research of photovoltaic array output feature and lead-acid storage battery input feature, the paper presents an optimal control theory combining photovoltaic array maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique and lead-acid storage battery optimal charging method. The paper proposes a synthetic control theory realizing the combination of the MPPT technique and battery optimal charge method based upon a 250 watts street lamp system supplied by solar energy.
