  • Abstract
    Based on the traditional Park equation, a mathematical model including the bus impedance is set up to analyze the asynchronous starting of one synchronous motor. Using MATLAB/SIMULINK the paper gives the simulation results of starting one motor and starting one motor with another one that is already running. It analyzes the whole starting process of one motor and the disturbance it brings to the running motor. This paper also discusses how the bus impedance and motor parameters influence the system stability.
