Abstract :
In this paper, the performance of two nonzero dispersion shifted fibers (NZ-DSF), LEAF and True Wave, in high bit rate optical system are studied. We also test the hybrid circuit of these two fibers together in case if we want to interchange signals between these two types of fibers. From our simulations, if a signal is transmitted between these two fibers, its performance may be degraded.
