Abstract :
In this paper, it was proposed a method of forming on-chip high precision resistors in the CMOS technology from active devices. The high precision resistor, which is composed of three NMOS FETs with controllable gate voltage. The simulation results, using Cadence´s SPECTRE software and TSMC´s library of 0.25 μm CMOS mixed model, indicate that the on-chip high precision resistors could be used to terminate the USB cable in a matching impedance of 45 ohms.
