Abstract
A sensitive microwave sensor is established to measure human heartbeats and respirations. A large number of microwave cardio-graph (MCG) is collected and thoroughly analyzed. It concludes that the MCG is come from the amplitude and phase modulation of the heart movement to the scattering field, instead of the indistinct Doppler effect, even though almost a similar apparatus is used.
