Abstract :
This paper describe a query methodology with a relational database when multiple factors need to be considered, and complicated conditions have to be satisfied. The main ideas are using reusable temporary data pool to store intermediate query results, and using reference tables to store search conditions. The program is designed for quick HLA match between an available donor and recipients´ waiting list in needs of kidney transplantation. The algorithm is not only covering the identical HLA match and also deal with cross-reactive antigen groups(CREGs).
